Our Story

Moor&Flint started with a simple love of original paintings. The kind often lost to time, whether signed by an unknown artist or unsigned altogether, but still, unmistakably someone's considered work.

In our opinion the world doesn’t need more new things. It needs more care taken with what already exists. Every piece we source is a small act of recovery: something made with intention, given a second life. So that’s why Moor&Flint exists. We source unique pieces one at a time, drawn to colour, brushwork, character and emotion, traits that only an original piece of artwork can hold. By doing so, we ensure that nothing we sell needed to be made. It only needed to be found.
